The client’s love of plants was the driving force behind this design. It was also important that the garden provide play opportunities and a sense of adventure for a young child, and be a great outdoor party venue! While the front garden planting is traditional, the rear includes unusual and exotic specimens, including a loquat tree, elegant black bamboos, giant perennials and bog garden plants. about GIANT PERENNIALS ...

Many are not invasive, need no staking and are easy to maintain. They are dramatic and huge fun. Many provide colour in late summer/autumn, and will stand long into winter, providing visual interest and a valuable overwintering habitat for beneficial insects.
